Volleyball Recap: Mccutcheon Has No Trouble Against North Putnam

It's playoff time, and McCutcheon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the North Putnam Cougars 3-0 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 last Thursday.

Jack Smith was the offensive standout of the contest as he had eight digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April.

Smith wasn't the only good servers: McCutcheon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Putnam only served three.

McCutcheon is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for North Putnam, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Coming up, McCutcheon will face off against Tri-West Hendricks at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. North Putnam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
