Port Allen is 0-3 against False River since March of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Port Allen Pelicans will welcome the False River Gators at 4:00 p.m. Port Allen is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 17.2 runs per game this season.

Port Allen had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least ten runs, but Central Lafourche put an end to it on Saturday. Port Allen lost 15-0 to Central Lafourche.

Port Allen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jerrica Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Cooper's first of the season.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but False River ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Port Allen 25-24. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Pelicans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Port Allen's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for False River, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
