Softball Recap: Lakeside Christian Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Lakeside Christian entered their tilt with Sarasota Christian on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Blazers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Jamisen Rheintgen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Christine Trofemuk was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February. Ruthy Saul was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
