Softball Recap: Walker Picks Up Fifth Straight Win on the Road

Walker won the last time they faced Academy of Our Lady and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Penguins by a score of 10-7.

Walker pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Academy of Our Lady, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
