Volleyball Recap: Pope John Paul II Gets the Win + How To Watch

Pope John Paul II had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Bayard Rustin Golden Knights by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Pope John Paul II also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Bayard Rustin still got an impressive performance from Julianna Gotto, who had 18 assists and five digs.

Pope John Paul II's record now sits at 11-3. As for Bayard Rustin, with the defeat, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Pope John Paul II wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Carver High School of Engineering & Science on the 4th. Bayard Rustin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
