Softball Recap: Northeast Bradford Comes Up Short

After flying high against Susquehanna last Monday, Northeast Bradford came back down to earth. The Panthers fell just short of the Wyalusing Valley Rams by a score of 8-7 on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Antoinette Herb made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Northeast Bradford's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Wyalusing Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-6.

Northeast Bradford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 4-2 defeat against Towanda on the 9th. As for Wyalusing Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Cowanesque Valley on the 9th.
