Baseball Recap: Williamsburg Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Williamsburg and Clermont Northeastern, and Clermont Northeastern kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats lost 17-7 to the Rockets on Thursday. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rockets earlier this season, when they won 6-3.

Williamsburg now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Clermont Northeastern, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Williamsburg will face off against Madison at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th. As for Clermont Northeastern, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-1 win against Washington on the 1st.
