Softball Recap: Cumberland Beavers vs. Cameron Comets
Cumberland lost against Cameron on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cumberland Beavers lost 11-1 to the Cameron Comets. Cumberland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
For Cameron's part, Katie Larson was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Holdeman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Cumberland's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Cameron, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-11.
Cumberland will be playing at home against Amery at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Cumberland is facing Amery at the right time seeing as Amery is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Cameron, they will head out on the road to challenge Hayward at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
