Coventry had lost 11 straight on the road, but on Friday they dropped their record down to 3-20 to make it 12. They lost 12-2 to the Ravenna Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ravens this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-2 back in April.

As for Ravenna, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-15. They not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18th (when they won 13-1).

For Ravenna's part, Jeriah Miller spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. Miller also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Ravens are 4-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-14 otherwise.

At the plate, Connor Welling was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Hysell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
