Beaver had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Ambridge Bridgers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Beaver was: they took every set by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-2.

Kailyn Connelly paced Beaver's offense, picking up 11 kills. Connelly got some help from Kayden Blinn and her 23 assists. Lanie Malobabich controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Beaver's victory bumped their record up to 19-2.

Coming up, Beaver will head out to take on Blackhawk at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ambridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln Park Performing Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Bridgers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
