Marlin Haywood leads a balanced attack to beat Santa Fe

Recap: Columbia Tigers vs. Santa Fe Raiders
The Columbia Tigers lost to the Santa Fe Raiders back in January, but the Columbia Tigers didn't allow the Santa Fe Raiders the same satisfaction on Friday. Columbia enjoyed a cozy 65-51 win over Santa Fe. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Columbia.
Columbia's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marlin Haywood, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Zamarion Jones, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
The win got Columbia back to even at 3-3. As for Santa Fe, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Columbia will take on Mandarin in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday at. Santa Fe won't have much time to rest: their next match is against P.K. Yonge at 7:00 p.m. on December 16th. Hopefully P.K. Yonge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Friday.
