Volleyball Recap: Mountain Pointe Comes Up Short

Mountain Pointe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Shadow Ridge Stallions.

Isabella Meagher paced Mountain Pointe's offense, picking up four kills. Meagher got some help from Amirah Rankin and her six assists. Tzenni-Bah Bauer controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mountain Pointe's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Shadow Ridge, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Mountain Pointe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Estrella Foothills on the 3rd. As for Shadow Ridge, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Tolleson on the 3rd.
