Basketball Recap: English Valleys Takes a Loss

After flying high against Meskwaki Settlement last Friday, English Valleys came back down to earth. The English Valleys Bears had to suffer through a 75-19 loss at the hands of the North Mahaska Warhawks. The game marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

English Valleys has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season. As for North Mahaska, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-3.

English Valleys does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Mahaska, they are taking a road trip to challenge Baxter on Thursday. One thing working in North Mahaska's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 17 matches.
