Softball Recap: Bravo Victorious

Bravo's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Franklin Panthers 10-9. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Hazel Medrano made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off ten hits. Medrano was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Jade Mendez was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Alany Mendoza, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Bravo's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Franklin, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-9.

As of now, neither Bravo nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
