Softball Recap: Law Enforcement & Public Safety Takes a Loss

Law Enforcement & Public Safety was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 27-5 to York Early College Academy, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against York Early College Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-4 back in April.

Law Enforcement & Public Safety's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for York Early College Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Law Enforcement & Public Safety will face off against Douglass Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Law Enforcement & Public Safety are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for York Early College Academy, they will square off against Architecture, Engineering and Construction at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. York Early College Academy will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
