Basketball Recap: Alma Takes Down Superior in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alma had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Superior Wildcats by a score of 45-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

It was another big night for Tierston Moore, who went 7-for-10 on her way to 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Chayse Molzahn was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to six boards and four blocks.

Alma's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Superior, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 21-5 record.

Alma has already played their next game, a 53-40 loss against Pender on the 7th. Superior does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
