Softball Recap: San Gabriel Comes Up Short

After flying high against Marshall last Monday, San Gabriel came back down to earth. San Gabriel came up short against the Bell Gardens Lancers on Thursday, falling 21-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Matadors were not able to get on the board.

San Gabriel's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Bell Gardens, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season.

San Gabriel wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 19-1 loss against Mark Keppel on the 25th. As for Bell Gardens, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-0 defeat against Schurr on the 25th.
