Volleyball Recap: Indian Land Comes Up Short

Indian Land had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carolina Forest Panthers on Saturday.

Carolina Forest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Erion Tabaku led the charge by getting eight digs and two aces. Those eight digs gave Tabaku a new career-high. Alex Nikolov was another key player, getting 11 digs and one assist.

Indian Land has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Hanahan on the 23rd. As for Carolina Forest, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against J.L. Mann on the 23rd.
