Soccer Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

After flying high against Heritage on Tuesday, Liberty came back down to earth. The Liberty Bison fell just short of the Paloma Valley Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.

Liberty now has a losing record at 2-3-1. As for Paloma Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Liberty will take on Hemet in a holiday battle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Paloma Valley, they will face off against California Military Institute at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
