Joaquin and Woden are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Joaquin Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Woden Eagles at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Joaquin 4, Woden 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

On Friday, Joaquin came up short against Big Sandy and fell 7-3. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Joaquin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kason Stanaland, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Woden ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Broaddus 6-4. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Josh Hernandez and Brayden Bridges did most of the damage at the plate: Hernandez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI, while Bridges scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave Bridges a new career-high.

Woden's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Joaquin, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Woden's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Joaquin hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .322. It's a different story for Woden, though, as they've only averaged .194. Will they be able to contain Joaquin's hitters?

Joaquin skirted past Woden 10-9 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Will Joaquin repeat their success, or does Woden have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
