Basketball Recap: Sultan Comes Up Short

Sultan won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Liberty Patriots and fell 52-20. The game marked the Turks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Sultan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

The future could be bright for both Sultan and Liberty: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently.
