Illini Bluffs entered their tilt with Tremont on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Turks get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Tigers have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Illini Bluffs' win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Tremont, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Illini Bluffs will head out to square off against Havana at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 1.9, the Ducks 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Tremont, they will be playing at home against Athens at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.62 runs per game on average), something the Turks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
