Eisenhower had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Bloomington Bruins by a score of  7-3. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the   8-3 victory the Bruins walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.
 Jenna Vallin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Cari Nelson, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Azaleah Baca also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  triple of the season.
Eisenhower's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Bloomington,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-5.
 Looking ahead, Eisenhower will be playing in front of their home fans against Notre Dame  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. As for Bloomington, they will head out to  square off against Colton  at 3:45  p.m.  on Friday. The Bruins will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least ten  runs  in their last five contests.
