Bowie's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Martin Warriors by a score of 6-3. This was payback for the Volunteers, who suffered a 4-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Bowie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. Martin's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-1.

Bowie will have a chance to go back-to-back against Martin: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
