Basketball Recap: Billings Comes Up Short

If Billings was feeling good fresh off their 71-47 takedown of Hurley last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Billings Wildcats were beaten by the Greenwood Blue Jays 76-49 on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Blue Jays recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Billings' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Greenwood, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 5-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Billings Wildcats challenge the Niangua Cardinals on Saturday. Greenwood will take on Warrensburg in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
