Basketball Recap: Junction Comes Up Short

Junction was the 36-31 winner over Franklin when they last played one another back in December of 2015, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 55-49 to the Lions on Monday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Junction's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Franklin, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Junction and Franklin will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Junction will challenge rival Goldthwaite at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Franklin is set to square off against their familiar foe C.H. Yoe at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
