Baseball Recap: West Creek Comes Up Short

West Creek was the 7-2 winner over Northeast when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The West Creek Coyote lost 11-1 to the Northeast Eagles on Thursday. The Coyote have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Creek's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Northeast, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Creek will host Stewart County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Northeast, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Henry County at 4:15 p.m. Henry County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
