Softball Recap: Phillips Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Phillips's offense. They came up short against the Brooks Eagles on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Phillips has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season. As for Brooks, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Coming up, Phillips will head out on the road to face off against Catalyst-Maria at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Wolves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Brooks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
