Baseball Recap: Perry Victorious

Perry won the last time they faced Mountain View and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Pumas walked away with a 10-5 win over the Toros.

Perry let Devin Dekavallas and Gavin Cram run wild. Dekavallas went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Cram got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. Those three runs gave Dekavallas a new career-high. Trejan LeBeau was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Perry's record now sits at 5-13-2. As for Mountain View, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-9 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will square off against Brophy College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain View, they will venture away from home to take on Westwood at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
