Recap: St. David's Warriors vs. GRACE Christian Eagles
The St. David's Warriors can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They breezed by GRACE Christian on the road to the tune of 56-19. With St. David's ahead 31-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
St. David's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eliza Everett, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds. Everett is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Benson, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
St. David's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for GRACE Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
St. David's will head out on the road to challenge Cary Christian at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Cary Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 357th, while St. David's is ranked 119th). As for GRACE Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against New Life Camp at 5:30 p.m. New Life Camp will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
