Basketball Game Preview: Powder Valley Badgers vs. Cove Leopards

The Powder Valley Badgers will head out on the road to take on the Cove Leopards at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cove took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Powder Valley, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Powder Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Wallowa, but they still walked away with a 43-38 win. The Badgers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Cove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 60-49 to Echo, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Powder Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Cove, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-9.

Powder Valley came up short against Cove when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 58-48. Can Powder Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
