Soccer Game Preview: Hertford County vs. Currituck County

Hertford County is 0-10 against Currituck County since September of 2017 but things could change on Monday. The Bears will venture away from home to take on the Knights at 5:00 p.m. Hertford County has given up an average of 6.3 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hertford County fell victim to Pasquotank County and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Panthers.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Currituck County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1.

Hertford County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Currituck County, the win got them back to even at 8-8-2.

Hertford County might still be hurting after the 9-0 defeat they got from Currituck County in their previous matchup on October 1st. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
