Softball Recap: Preston Takes a Loss

Preston's tournament run continued when they took on Weiser on Saturday. Preston lost 12-3 to Weiser. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Averie Madsen was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Brielle Biggs, who scored a run and stole two bases.

Preston's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Weiser, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2.

Preston didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 win against Homedale on the 22nd. As for Weiser, they have also already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Ridgevue on the 22nd.
