The Cornerstone Christian Warriors got the win against the Lakeside Vikings on Tuesday by a conclusive 75-53. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Joaquin Galindo was the offensive standout of the game as he went 6-for-12 en route to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Xander Parra, who posted 11 points.

The win made it two in a row for Cornerstone Christian and bumps their season record up to 7-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.5 points over those games. As for Lakeside, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Cornerstone Christian will face off against Victoria East at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors will be up against the Titans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lakeside, they will venture away from home to challenge Shiloh at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
