Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica Victorious

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's tournament run continued when they took on West Valley on Friday. The Seawolves won by a set and slipped past the Mustangs 2-1.

Despite the loss, West Valley still got an impressive performance from MiaBella DePhillippo, who had seven kills and four aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Deonys Ioane, who had 16 assists and three digs.

Pacifica Christian/Santa Monica's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for West Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
