Volleyball Recap: Henry-Senachwine Mallards vs. Roanoke-Benson Rockets
With a playoff game on the line, Henry-Senachwine rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Roanoke-Benson Rockets by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Mallards sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Henry-Senachwine easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-20.
Henry-Senachwine has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 28-7 record this season. As for Roanoke-Benson, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-23.
Henry-Senachwine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against St. Bede on the 31st. Roanoke-Benson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
