Baseball Recap: Heide Trask Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wallace-Rose Hill, Heide Trask was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They never let the East Bladen Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted against the Eagles since March 26, 2015.

Not much got past Jackson Sadler, who gave up just a hit and racked up nine Ks to keep East Bladen off the board. Sadler has become a key player for Heide Trask: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 2-8 otherwise.

At the plate, Cooper Uhland was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Matix Wiler, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Heide Trask has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season. As for East Bladen, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record.

Coming up, East Bladen will take on South Columbus at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Stallions will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Heide Trask will be paying especially close attention to East Bladen's match: after East Bladen faces off against South Columbus, they'll take on Heide Trask again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
