Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only North Phoenix Preparatory Academy walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Fort Thomas Apaches on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Gladiators sure are getting used to it with their 11th in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 25-15.

Coco Veatch had a dynamite game, getting 19 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy's victory bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Fort Thomas, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

North Phoenix Preparatory Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Anthem Prep on the 7th. Fort Thomas does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
