Baseball Recap: South Summit Comes Up Short

South Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Union Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Tuesday.

South Summit's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Union, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Summit will welcome Summit Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they will be playing at home against Uintah at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
