Softball Recap: Shawnee's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Shawnee was riding high fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Southeastern Local on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Shawnee fell 6-2 to Southeastern Local on Saturday. The Braves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 11-1.

Shawnee saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Wilson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Shawnee fell to 2-1. As for Southeastern Local, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shawnee will head out to challenge Versailles at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southeastern Local, they will venture away from home to take on Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be Southeastern Local's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
