Basketball Game Preview: Zimmerman Thunder vs. Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats

The Zimmerman Thunder will challenge the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Zimmerman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 15 games.

Last Tuesday, Zimmerman blew past North Branch, posting a 76-25 win. The Thunder have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Chisago Lakes Area ended up a good deal behind Cambridge-Isanti on Tuesday and lost 84-70.

Chisago Lakes Area has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season. As for Zimmerman, their victory bumped their record up to 16-8.

Everything came up roses for Zimmerman against Chisago Lakes Area when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured an 84-57 win. Will Zimmerman repeat their success, or does Chisago Lakes Area have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
