Basketball Game Preview: Spur Bulldogs vs. Paducah Dragons

Spur is 1-9 against Paducah since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Spur Bulldogs will welcome the Paducah Dragons at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Spur is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their tenth straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 60-21 loss at the hands of Crosbyton.

Meanwhile, Paducah had to suffer through a 101-31 loss at the hands of Panhandle Christian Home Educators. The matchup marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Paducah dropped their record down to 4-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Spur, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Spur came up short against Paducah in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 61-57. Can Spur avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
