Baseball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Johnson fell victim to Burbank and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 11-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Johnson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Jackson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Johnson's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Burbank, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-6.

While Johnson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
