Basketball Recap: Solebury Drops Highest Score of Season Against Life Center Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Solebury). They took down the Life Center Academy Warriors 80-66 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Spartans: when they faced off against the Warriors last Tuesday, they had to take a 76-59 defeat.

When it comes to explaining why Life Center Academy lost, don't look at Gardy Etienne. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and 17 rebounds. The contest was Etienne's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Stokes, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 13 points and six boards.

Solebury's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-8. As for Life Center Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Solebury will face off against Kohelet Yeshiva at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Life Center Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Liguori Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
