Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lynn Classical). They came out on top against the Somerville Highlanders by a score of 45-37 on Saturday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shutout in their previous contest.

It was another big night for Tyren Hoeun, who rushed for 365 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 18.3 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 82-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamari Coates, who rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Lynn Classical's defensive line and their four sacks. Somerville's QB won't forget Hoeun anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Hoeun also punched in four rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Lynn Classical is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.

Lynn Classical's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Somerville, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
