Young Women's Leadership came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 40-35 W over the Morrisania Lions. This was payback for Young Women's Leadership, who suffered a 37-29 loss the last time these two teams met.

Young Women's Leadership pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points per game. As for Morrisania, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
