Baseball Game Preview: Beaumont Cougars vs. Redlands Terriers

The Beaumont Cougars will challenge the Redlands Terriers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 11 consecutive losses for Beaumont and five for Redlands.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Beaumont's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Palm Desert on Saturday.

Aiden Miranda was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

Meanwhile, Redlands also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Yucaipa by a score of 10-6.

Redlands' loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Beaumont, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-20.
