After losing to Greenville the last time they met, Riverside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Hornets 3-2.

Riverside's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Greenville, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Riverside is taking a road trip to face off against McLaurin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greenville, they will be playing at home against Ridgeland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
