Preview: Humboldt Vikings vs. Middleton Tigers        
        
		
            
 Humboldt has been on the road for six straight, but  on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Middleton Tigers at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Humboldt and Middleton are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
 Back in December of 2023, Humboldt came up short against Dyer County  and fell  57-45.
 Meanwhile, Middleton scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They came out on top against Clarksburg by a score of  63-50. The  victory was familiar territory for Middleton who now have five in a row.
 Middleton found their leader in underclassman  Harmony Bell, who  scored 42 points along with two  steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Bell has scored at least a third of Middleton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ty'angela Geanes, who  scored two points along with ten  rebounds and five  blocks.
 Humboldt's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Middleton, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
 Humboldt ended up a good deal behind  Middleton when the teams last played  back in February of 2023, losing  46-30. Will Humboldt have more luck at home instead of on the road?  Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
