Volleyball Recap: Winfield Extends Winning Streak to Three

Winfield waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against Warrenton as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for Winfield, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Winfield walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 25-20.

Marlie Karsten paced Winfield's offense, picking up 18 kills. Karsten got some help from Aubree Schott and her 20 assists.

Winfield's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Warrenton, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Winfield will host Holt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warrenton, they will venture away from home to face off against Orchard Farm at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
